What happened:
Well, here’s the thing. I sometimes have these little creative dry-spells. It sucks but, hey, what are ya gonna do? First, I hit a snag whilst writing this strip. It just wasn’t flowing properly and I couldn’t figure out why. I developed a technique for writing stand-up back when I was a comedian that I dusted off and applied to the task of writing comics. It worked and it turned out that the problem was that I was trying to cram 3 comics worth of material into one; hence Monster Maxx!! PART 1. Expect 2 more parts in the coming weeks. Then once I had the script sussed out I found I was simultaneously experiencing a drawing dry-spell. Nothing was looking the way I wanted it to and I really didn’t want to half-ass it. So I waited. I hope it was worth it.
