To be honest with you, I don’t know what all the fuss is about. So, maybe I just love The Muppets and subconsciously I do want my comic to feel like a puppet show. Or maybe I just always liked Jon Arbuckle so much as a kid that, now, when I think of a “real comic strip” it features characters from the waist up behind a table despite the fact that my strip doesn’t star a lasagna-loving jerk-cat. Maybe it’s because my style of joke-telling is very wordy and in order to have room for the larger than usual word-balloons I simply don’t have enough space to include full, floor-length characters. Or maybe I just hate drawing feet. Who knows? (I do.) Rest assured, as often as I deem it appropriate, the feet and legs of the Neutron City Comix cast will be on full display. Nobody ever complains about The Family Circus always being round. That’s just the way that strip is presented. So it is with Neutron City Comix. We do it Puppet-Style. Get over it.
I will be at GMX (Geek Media Expo) all weekend for anybody who wants to meet a real, live web-comics creator. I will be doing $1 Speed Sketches all weekend and I will also be Judging a Speed Sketch contest hosted by TV’s The Flash, John Wesley Shipp!!
Once again, a big “thank you” goes out to my brother, Yoni, for doing all the Photoshoppy stuff on this one. I need to learn to use that stupid program already. If I have any fans out there who think they can teach a monkey to use Photoshop, I need to take a class.
All right… I’ll see everybody right back here next week!!
Get Your GEEK On!!
